VoIP Simplicity

Business phones that work, supported by the people who installed them

A hosted phone system delivered over your internet connection. Keep your numbers, lose the phone closet, and get support from the same team that manages your network.

What you get

VoIP Simplicity replaces a traditional PBX with a hosted service. Calls route over your internet connection, handsets register to the cloud, and administration happens in a browser instead of a utility closet.

Call handling

  • Auto-attendant and department menus
  • Ring groups, hunt groups, and call queues
  • Transfer, hold, park, and conference
  • Time-of-day and holiday routing

Devices and apps

  • Desk phones for reception and shared spaces
  • Softphone for laptops and mobile devices
  • Conference room and cordless handsets
  • Headsets for staff who live on the phone

Messaging and voicemail

  • Voicemail delivered to email as an audio file
  • Business SMS and MMS from your business number
  • Fax-to-email for the documents that still arrive by fax

Numbers and porting

Existing numbers are ported to the new service, so callers do not notice the change. Porting typically takes two to three weeks depending on the losing carrier, and we coordinate the whole process, including the temporary forwarding that keeps calls flowing on cutover day.

Questions we get asked

Can we keep our current numbers?

Yes, in nearly all cases. Numbers are ported from your current carrier. The exceptions are numbers tied to a contract that has not been satisfied or numbers in areas the new carrier does not serve, and we check that before you commit.

Do we need new phones?

Only if your existing handsets are not supported by the new platform. Many modern SIP handsets can be reprovisioned. We tell you which of yours will work.

What happens to our phone bill?

You move from carrier billing to a service agreement with us. Pricing depends on the number of extensions, call paths, and features you need, so it is quoted rather than published.

Can we text customers from the business number?

Yes, and business messaging is regulated. Message frequency, opt-out, and consent requirements are described in our SMS Terms & Conditions and Acceptable Use Policy.

What about 911?

Each handset is registered to a physical address so emergency calls route to the correct dispatch center. If a phone moves to a new location, the address has to be updated, and we handle that.
